Hello, this is Timothy Mudd, principal at Parker Middle School with your weekly message. There is no school Friday, March 29th - Sunday April 7th for spring break. School will resume on Monday, April 8th on a regular schedule. When we return from spring break, we only have 6 weeks remaining before EOG testing begins. Please make sure you child is completing and submitting all assignments because time is running out for them to meet the promotion standards. Students must pass all four of their core classes or pass the EOG in order to be promoted. Please contact Ms. Wright our guidance counselor if you have questions or concerns about your child's grades. We also have a number of fun activities for students at the end of the year, like May Ball, PBIS celebrations, and field trips. In order for students to participate in these events, they must not have any level 2, 3, or 4 administrative referrals. Please remind your student of the importance of staying out of trouble for the last 6 weeks of the year. We hope you have a great weekend and spring break. Go Pirates!

Say Something
In 4 out of 5 school shootings, at least one other person had knowledge of the attacker’s plan but failed to report it. People who hurt themselves or others often show warning signs before they carry out an act of violence. #SaySomethingWeek #SaySomethingSavesLives #NCPSchools
